Little Lions

Riding home from work this morning, Brain was meditating on what to blip. Nightshifts are hardly the stuff of great journal blips and there isn't much opportunity to find something to take a relevant picture of, but then Brain remembered an interesting gatepost into a driveway that is a bit "blink & you'll miss it"

Anyway heading up out of Compstall I spotted it so doubled back and pulled over for a sneaky peek. The gatepost is singular and there isn't much clue as to where its other one went but in any case it's topped with four handsome Lions so I grabbed a quick pic before bimbling off for some breakfast & bed.

Sleep was deep and well into the afternoon but there was time for a few chores before getting ready for Nightshift round 2. And here we are :-)
