Kendal Castle (the remains of)

We crossed the river and made the short climb to the the ruins of Kendal castle, ruins that sit perched on a hill that rises straight up out of the centre of the town. The view from here is great.

I made adjustments to the Shadow/highlights in this photo and now it looks like something from a tourist info booklet from the 50s, before they'd really worked out and standardised coloured printing properly.

We're getting spoiled with all this weather, aren't we?
