Such Great Heights.
Today was my birthday and it begun with Fiona and the kids doing me proud and making me very happy. After lunch me Sadie and Samuel went back to Cautley Spout and climbed up over it and on to The Calf - a 676m peak. At points the height was dizzying - especially as we looked down over Cautley Crag. Difficult to convey the epic scale of these hills in a landscape photograph - we got way higher than these sheep though.
Fiona took us all out for tea tonight which was great. I'd recently finished reading Life of Pi and Samuel got me a DVD of the film so we all slouched back and watched it this evening. Tremendous.
