Refraction
We took drinks and chocolate outside this afternoon, and I was fascinated by the refraction causing J's straw to move out of line as it exits her apple juice, and the reversal of the curve of the table as I looked at its pattern through the glass. The light in the vegetation was lovely, Casper cat came for gentle cuddles on J's lap, and I enjoyed the light and shadows on the patio.
Before and after this sunny interlude, I picked elderflowers - probably almost the last of them for this year - and picked the tiny flowers off the stalks ready to use in my jam. The rest are now steeping with lemon zest for a second batch of cordial, and the jam is made. What a difference a sunny day makes!
And I'm now up to date! I've back blipped at least a week's photos over the past two evenings, if anyone has time to look - lots of flowers in the garden and a few other
