Today we said goodbye to our friends who are returning home. We will miss their company in the evenings and our familiarity with this lovely resort of Kapsali. Unfortunately l managed to trip over my suitcase and pulled a tendon so it’s slow walking for me at the moment

We caught a taxi to a small seaside resort in the north Aghia Pelagia where we are staying for a few more days. It’s quite different from our previous location but it’s good to explore a different location. These boats are resting along the seafront.

Later we ate at one of the tavernas by the beach. My husband had such a large helping of fried anchovies (gavros) that he couldn’t finish them. I thought it was time to try a moussaka and didn’t quite finish that either. It was a good meal though.
