Went to upholstery this morning as usual. Chair is progressing well again but have decided to put something me covered buttons on the back so its unlikely that I’ll finish next week. Never mind. Weather is definitely getting a little warmer- I walked up to the Avenue wearing sandals. These flowers are part of huge planters on each side- they are somewhat ‘municipal planting’ but do provide a nice splash of colour. So not an hour or two in the garden when I got home. Went to Bridge in the evening. I partnered one of the people who run it. He was very friendly but a bit too good for me - I didnt understand all of his bids. It did mean we got a good score- third out of thirteen! I bid and made a slam - 12 out of 13 tricks . Very satisfying
