Magnolia . . . J J Cale

One of the neighbours has this magnolia at the front of their section.  It has been a bleak winters days which I suppose is fitting for the shortest day.  
The forester prunned the fruit trees and we took them out to the sister in laws burning pile then the three of us went to Wakefield for a hot meat pie lunch.
Thank you all the women who commiserated about the closure of the dress shop and shared the joys of shopping in a real store.  A sign of the times I know.
