Pruning

Today didn’t go as planned. We were supposed to join friends walking a further section of the Thames Path today but the lurgy has lingered for R and she was just not able to contemplate it. We therefore decided to forget it for today, and plan to go there tomorrow if R feels better. I am fine today so I decided to chop down the weird hedges that have grown round the lions on the gateposts. Before and after photos are my blip. Definitely better without the hedges but not sure if the lions will stay. Don’t know why whoever chose them decided to get such tall numbers.
