Sweet pea.

I haven’t had much luck with sweet peas over the last few years, but decided to give them another go.
At the moment they are doing well and have just started flowering. They are in a pot by the gate. ( see extra) it was a mixed pot, but seem to be just two colours.

What a beautiful day. Shopping at the farm shop this morning.
Then this afternoon I decided to tackle the green algae on the fence.
Sprayed with a mixture of vinegar and water. After 15mins scrubbed with a stiff brush. Then sprayed with water. It hasn’t completely gone but enough for me to paint it now with Ducksback preservative.
Afterwards enjoyed a glass or two of wine sat in the garden.

Hope this weather lasts over the weekend.

Just had a video sent from our grandson. Jude won a dance competition last night. Oh what a great mover!
They are now home after a wonderful holiday.
Set off at 6am this morning. Partly to get home before the hottest part of the day, and also avoid the traffic.
Very sensible.
