Relaxing on and by the water

It feels like a Saturday today. Don’t know why.

After a HIIT session we walked into town through Mote Park and past the lake. Paid in some cheques, had a coffee, bought a load of different nuts and a pair of walking shoes for Susan.

Full on this afternoon as we’re travelling to Liverpool on Monday for a big birthday celebration. I went to the allotment to pick strawberries, sow beans and pull marestails. I joined susan afterwards at home potting up stuff ready for when we return on Friday.

And we’re busy picking cherries from our tree on Saturday and processing them. On Sunday the band have a gig at a charity fund raiser called the Pink Party.

Perhaps I ought to take a leaf out of the fishermen. Living in the moment like “Angler Bill gets a thrill sitting watching bobbing quill” Moody Blues, Days of Future Past. What an album!
