The longest day

The start of summer today. That is here in the northern hemisphere at least.
As it happens I could have been down on the beach at sunrise this morning as Vinnie wanted out and for some bizarre reason started barking his head off.
By the time I’d found some shoes and got out there to fetch him in, I was wide awake. It was rather beautiful, but I went back to bed, Callum got up and made tea, and then we got up anyway.
I have had a nap during the day though :-)

I did the evening dog walk and we went part way through the woods but as you can see, it’s still muddy in places, so we turned round and came back the same way instead of doing the round trip.
