Breakfast photos, to post or not to post?

Why do people post pictures of their breakfast on Facebook? This was the hot topic of conversation at afternoon coffee break at work today.

Inspired by the general grumpiness of the conversation I have posted a dinner pasta slug as my contribution to the annoyance! If you look really closely you can see it has left a slimy trail in its wake.

Clicking preview has made me think that I could have fun with this. Pasta slug could pop up again in the future, but next time I might have to give it some yellow and blue stripes.
