Good things come to those who wait?

...well most things at any rate.

Arrived home after an action packed weekend in Lancaster and the Lakes. Not sure when I will be rushing back down, way too much excitement for one weekend. I need time to recover!

Anyway... arrived home to find lots of juicy ripe strawberries, how exciting!

On the flip side the pigeons have been nibbling at the leeks and have pulled some of them out of the ground. Pesky pests... not any more. Rigged up a fleece to cover them until they are big enough to fend for themselves! The leeks that is, not the pigeons! And the lettuces have wilted in the heat. I'll have to sow some more at the weekend.
