Cyfarfod hen ffrindiau
Cyfarfod hen ffrindiau ~ Meeting old friends
“You will discover that your Buddha nature has always been near you and will always be with you. This is the truest friendship you can ever cultivate.”
― HH Khyentse Rinpoche

Aeth Nor'dzin a fi i'r pentref heddiw - ar wahân. Roedd Nor'dzin wedi trefnu cwrdd â ffrindiau - dau o'r mamau roedden ni'n nabod o ysgol y plant amser maith yn ôl. Es i i'r siopau (ac yn crwydro o gwmpas y fynwent) ond ymunais i â Nor'dzin a'i ffrindiau hi yn y siop goffi. Roedd hi'n dda i dal i fyny gyda hen ffrindiau ar ôl amser hir.
Mae'n atgoffa i mi, dw i angen cwrdd â ffrind o goleg. Bob blwyddyn rydyn ni'n anfon cardiau Nadolig ac yn ddweud 'dylen ni gwrdd i fyny'. Rydyn ni wedi bod yn dweud hwnnw am flynyddoedd. Efallai eleni byddan ni'n cwrdd.

Nor'dzin and I went to the village today - separately. Nor'dzin had arranged to meet friends - two of the mothers we knew from the children's school a long time ago. I went to the shops (and wandered around the cemetery) but I joined Nor'dzin and her friends in the coffee shop. It was good to catch up with old friends after a long time.
It reminds me, I need to meet a friend from college. Every year we send Christmas cards and say 'we should meet up'. We've been saying that for years. Maybe this year we will meet.
