OUTING TO SLIMBRIDGE WITH MRS. T.

Hello Lovely Blippers,

Thought you might like to see us all at Slimbridge, which is just over an hour’s journey from where Mr. & Mrs. HCB live.  However, just as we remembered dear Admirer yesterday on the anniversary of the day she died, today was the day we remembered dear Mr. T who, until he died one year ago today was also a Blipper.  

You probably know that Mrs. T blips under the name of Amanda_T.   She and the HCBs are very good friends, so they arranged to meet at her house and then drive to Slimbridge so that they could all be together for the day to remember Mr. T.

For those who don’t know Slimbridge is a Wildfowl Wetland Centre and has hundreds of wildfowl, including flamingoes, all sorts of ducks, egrets, herons, avocets and lots of others we can’t remember, but if you want to know more, you can look at this website.

We all had a great day and talked about Mr. T a lot, because it was where Mr. & Mrs. T used to go and spend the whole day wandering around because it’s not far from where they live. 

You can see us all sitting on a seat in one of the meadows - unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to go near many of the ducks because we might have frightened them.  Mrs. T and the HCBs were in and out of hides and wandering all over the place and told us they saw lots of lovely ducks, including a little robin, which thrilled Mrs. T - because there is a saying, “Robins appear when loved ones are near.”

We know that Mrs. T had a lovely day and so did the HCBs but Mrs. HCB is very tired now - she told us she did well over 7,000 steps, which is great for her -  and we think she may even have an early night,  because they have another busy day tomorrow when their friend is baptised at Church.

We just want to remind you again to BE KIND - we have seen lots of kindness between Mrs. T and the HCBs today and we think that Admirer would have been pleased about that.  We thought you would like to see the shot Mrs. HCB took of Mr. HCB tucking into his pasty - although there isn’t one of Mrs. T . enjoying hers!  Mrs. HCB would like you to know that she DID NOT have a pasty, although she said they smelled delicious - she had a lovely salad!  There is also a shot of Mr. HCB and Mrs. T.
