The weather was unusual, well for this summer it was, hot and dry, most unusual!  We prepped the lodge, did some strimming and cut the parts of the grass we cut, the rest is developing into a wildflower meadow.

I always look for a blip while at the lodge, often on the walk to the bins.  Today no walk to the bins but I spotted these growing on the rockery under the verandah.  If you aren't familiar with cyclamen the round balls are seed pods on the twisted stems (looking like springs).  As they ripen the spring straightens pushing the seed pod away from the parent plant.
