Giant Redwood
So this is officially the first day of the holiday.
We always like going to Aberfeldy so armed with a list of the food that we needed to cook for the week we first went to a farm shop on Loch Tay.
We then had lunch in Aberfeldy in a cafe that we have not been to before. We will definitely be going back. We are missing the boys so it was good to see that dogs were allowed in the cafe. In face the owner owned one and we met him. He was called Hendricks and we gave him a big stroke.
When looking for things to do in Aberfeldy we discoved the Cluny House Garden. It was a delightful natural garden and the they had several amazing old trees. The photo is a Giant Redwood. It was HUGE.
The extras are Nigel photographing the Himalayan lillies. Note the odd socks. And the Miconopsis.
Having done some more food shopping and then cooked dinner, we are sitting looking at the glorious view.
