Shoreham
Around 10am Mike arrived in the car to pick me up and take me back to the house. He had already dropped Becky and Astrid off at a birthday party. Mike and I just chilled out until Becky messaged around 12noon to say she was ready to leave the party.
After collecting Becky and Astrid we drove to Shoreham Airport for lunch. Weather was dry but rather windy but we still opted to sit outdoors so we could watch all the little planes landing and taking off. It was quite busy and Astrid loved seeing the planes. I had a very tasty ham and cheese toastie to eat.
My Extra collage shows the cafe building, one of the planes and a photo taken down in Shoreham
Next we drove to Shoreham, parked the car and then crossed the pedestrian bridge to get down to the sea. Took my blip shot on the bridge. After a nice walk along the path beside the pebble beach Mike went to get the car. I've added an Extra of me and Astrid sitting on a bench. She's still wearing her party hat
Becky, Astrid and me popped into a charity shop. There was a table full of home made scones and cakes for sale and I couldn't resist buying myself a slice of coffee and walnut cake.
Mike dropped us off at home and then he went shopping for ingredients for the meal. He cooked a lovely chicken dish with a creamy sauce and rice. Becky went for a run before the meal.
Throughout the day we seem to have managed to watch 3 Euro 2024 football matches.
Around 11.30pm Mike walked me back to my apartment.
Im all packed ready to go home tomorrow. I'm going to have breakfast with Becky, Mike and Astrid before I catch my train.
