According to this article in a local magazine, today is a special day. This year has so many special things, it's incredible.

I have a list of things that have gone wrong that I need to sort out. Today, I managed one of them. The person who supplies me with secondhand parts for my car finally gave me a place and time to meet, so G & I drove to an area we'd never seen before. The size of the houses - wow. They were more like palaces with huge "gardens" and elaborate boundary walls.

I swapped the compressor that would not cut out with a steering pump. We then headed to The Nine to watch the England/Denmark match. We had dinner there. The food is great, but it is pricey for the portions you get. As for the match, whilst a draw isn't a great result, it is better than a loss! :))
