Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens

Our day started with a 6K run from the house, along the river and then the seafront in Lyme Regis. Very nice way to begin the day.
Then we all went into Seaton along the coast. It wasn’t very nice but the coffee was good!
In the afternoon we took MIL to visit Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, which she really enjoyed. Her favourite flowers are alstroemerias, so she was delighted to see lots of different coloured ones.
She also wanted to have fish and chips for tea, so we went back into Lyme Regis at tea time and ate outside opposite the harbour.
So glad she is enjoying her mini-break.
