After a large breakfast, we were both hungry after yesterday’s travels, we headed for Paddington station to get a train home. It was exciting to me to travel on the new Elizabeth line especially since it passed through several train stations the l knew from my childhood.

The train journey went smoothly although it was fairly busy being a Saturday.

We arrived home in the afternoon and the sun was shining although it’s more than 10C colder.
