Super Sue

A morning of reminiscing in Delph and Uppermill which have both become massively gentrified in the last few years. Dad bought a house in Delph which his Aunty Ann lived in and we spent all morning wandering around both places which are breathtakingly lovely and I can see why the house prices have shot up.

We then had tea and cake and an amazing catch up with my second cousin Susan (Geoffrey’s daughter) and her grandson Ethan - see extra - who loves cricket. Before we knew it the afternoon was gone. Note to family, I have photos of Grandads shop, and other significant places which I’ll share later.

This photo shows Susan in the background with a portrait she’d kept, drawn by James, at the launch of my Dads autobiography ’Gradads Life’ some 10+ years ago. James is now a software engineer. We’d totally forgotten this. Xxx
