Summer fete

A lovely warm sunny day promoted me to wear a dress to my choir’s summer free. The wind was cooler than I anticipated so it wasn’t as pleasant in the sunshine as it could have been. Our social committee did a fabulous job of organising us. There was food galore, a rather tasty fruit punch, games including a bingo game where the numbers in the cards went up to 90 but there were only 75 balls, a raffle and a tombola. It wouldn’t have been choir without a sing along as well. All bar the raffle were included in our entrance fee.

Afterwards I headed to the station to pick up our visitor, Felix. He had some rent his day walking round the city centre and visiting the Museum of Scotland. Mr PHL drive in to pick us up. We had a lovely evening chatting about India where Felix runs a bespoke tours business.

Backblipped Monday for Saturday.
