Lake Ohau

Wet and grey day that got greyer and foggier as the day progressed.  Decided on a trip out to Lake Ohau to see if there were any nice grey scenes......great drive which powered up the batteries well but yielded little on the inspirational photography front.  (In extras: the trees were along the western shore of the lake and the and the Te Maiharoa Pou was an unexpected 'find' along the nearby walking trail.)  The return though revealed a developing fog layer.....good sign (for me - locals would unanimously disagree I'm sure) but with the heavy cloud layers there's zero chance of a frost tonight which Gerty thinks is great as she's been feeling a little under the weather.  Hopefully I can get her some 'medical' help tomorrow.
