... air.

Phew!  Today was probably the hottest day of our seven day heat wave.  And to make it worse it was very humid ... sweat dripping humid.

That said ... we did manage a very quick walk at Housenick park in the morning. And the rest of the day was either spent in the pool or in the house with the a/c running.  

After my swim and before the a/c I sat in the backyard getting pictures of whatever came around ... which wasn't much in this heat.  You can't really blame them, now can you.  This Common Grackle was after the peanut shown in the Extras.  They are funny birds because they will almost always 'dip' the peanuts in water before flying off to enjoy.  It must soften them up a bit for easier consumption.  Please be sure to view this full screen.
