The Osteopemum
are blooming nicely (excuse the deadheads I haven't yet removed) :)
A mixed sort of day.
Applied for Universal Credit - horrors, you are not paid for one month after applying - and still have to search for work 35 hours a week. I have not had a decision from them regarding my position with the police yet though.
I do have another interview that I'm keen to attend, but would rather get the police role.
A good friend came round, and hopefully we've sorted my washing machine water issues out....fingers crossed tightly!
And I met my ex-boss for a cuppa. She's moved to Chichester, but was up here to work in the office today and then see family tonight :)
Now I'm going to rant, I'm sorry! I need to have an outlet somewhere...
Do you remember I spoke to the council regarding wheelie bins and having steps to the front and back of my house? And they said there was no leeway, they were sending them out?
Well today, I have one large wheelie bin, that definitely will not fit under the window but will cover half the window up - never mind the fact I have to pull it up.or down steps to get it there :(:(
I am going to get onto planning and have it confirmed I can build a wheelie bin shelter at the front of the front garden (not supposed to put anything there!) and I'll have to remove my crocuses that come up every year!
Absolutely ridiculous (incidentally they don't care about people in flats or maisonettes here either)...
(see extra)
End of rant
