Too hot?

This poor little shield beetle looked so pretty I had trouble believing that it was dead, but it definitely wasn't moving.

It was scorchio in the garden once the sun came out in the late morning. I didn't bask in it at lunchtime, but it's still t-shirt weather out there so I did get a walk out along the Granton breakwater with D this evening while H was getting sporty nearby.
