Race for the prize

I'd estimate that 99% of the wildlife seen today was either slugs or snails. It was warm and dry this morning so I didn't bring a raincoat. Which automatically meant that it was raining and 13 degrees when it came time to go home.

Had book group in the evening. The England match was on in the background but was ignored as there were no scores. Books did not get discussed until the last half hour. There was just a lot of gossip, comparing holiday plans, nibbling and drinking. Perfect to distract us from normal life and the rain outside.
