Birthday Gifts

Ant and Diane (brother and SiL) gave me an Amazon voucher for my birthday and the Blip is what I got!
I’ve been wanting a willow obelisk for ages and this one is from a family business  on Amazon. The book is great too.
I’ve been doing some weeding - with difficulty as my ‘bum bones’ are really sore. I think it’s called Piriformis. It is caused by a lot of sitting!
Most of my interests are done sitting down, art, playing ukulele, knitting. Also I have spent a lot of time recently sitting in the car, sitting on the bus and sitting with Frank. I looked on line for treatment advice. 
Alternating between hot and ice cold packs. So I put a hot(cold) water bottle in the freezer then sat on it on a memory foam pillow.
It worked a treat! :-)
Today I phoned our GP surgery to ask when the district nurse would be coming to check Frank’s dressings and wound. It says in the Dr’s letter - referred to District Nurse for dressing change and wound check.
The receptionist said -
‘No, the district nurse doesn’t change dressings.’ So I asked about the practice nurse. ‘No, you have to go back to the hospital to ambulatory care.’

I asked Frank what he would like for tea and he said he’d love a baked potato with beans and a fried egg. I had the baked tattie and the beans on the plate and reached over to get the little frying pan off the stove, I must have moved my hand too quickly and the egg slipped out of the pan and down the cupboard door onto the floor! Splat! 
It was the last egg.
