Summer in Quarff

A windy and cloudy start to the day, but the sun came out in the afternoon.  Lovely and warm all day.  Calm and cloudy tonight. 

Up early, washing out after breakfast.  Headed out walkies with Sammy.  Some chores done around the house.  Headed to Lerwick for shopping, some for mam and dad, they've been struck down with covid.  Dropped off the errands, kept my distance.  Popped by Laura's, Kitty is now wobbly walking.  More walkies with Sammy after.   Working in the shop this evening, a busy night with the sunny evening.  Last walkies, now feet up. 

The first proper day of summer today, it really was lovely and warm, more so when the sun came out.  Stopped off for a walk with Sammy, he was struggling in the heat, he's not keen on it.  As we headed back up the road, Sammy got a break from the sun, and took to the shade under the trees.  Looking down from Kjurkhul, Quarff.
