Midair Skylight

A breezy, cloudy morning.  It wasn't long until the sun broke out, a warm and calm afternoon.  Cloudy this evening, still flat calm, then sunny after 2130.

Up early, headed out walkies with Sammy.  Popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  A morning in the peat hill, things starting to dry.  Headed out west in the afternoon, more walkies.  Nipped down to Laura's this evening, evening walk.  The kittens are getting playful now, still wobbly.  A young sparrow hit my sitting room window this evening.  I picked her up, petted her, and she soon perked up and flew off.  Off to bed early.

A lovely day again, it's even been t-shirt weather, hurrah.  It's been a while since I've been to this old croft house for a walk, sadly it's deteriorated a lot.  Not sure if it's been the gales of this past winter, or the previous, but the roof has now been torn apart, with chunks of wood lying over the yard.  Parts of the old byre are still in place, including this old skylight, which is hanging on and not much more.  Taken at Newton, Unifirth, West Burrafirth.
