Back again

An uneventful journey to Istanbul had me safely 'home' on Robert College campus by 15.00.   As in previous years, I am staying at Alex's place for the month while I teach summer school (Art class) and look after Nohut the cat, who is a grad old lady of sixteen now.  The view from this faculty housing of the glorious Bosphorus and Asian shore also includes the site of tomorrow's commencement ceremony for this year's graduating class. Sound tests and busy people were a constant presence so, I took a walk around campus and chatted to old friends and (ex) colleagues for a couple of hours.  Conversation continued all evening too, as back 'home' Alex and I shared a yummy salad and beer and nearly a year's worth of news, updates, opinions and generally problem solved until nearly midnight.
