Appledown Fields

It's getting hotter. Temperatures are predicted to rise into the thirties at midday, well into scorchio territory. On the school run, just after 8 a.m., it was mercifully much cooler, with a gentle breeze and some haze over the fields. Once again, the Canterbury traffic was starting to play silly buggers… but we managed to escape becoming embroiled in the nascent jams. I stopped along Appledown Lane (close to Gabriel's school) to take this shot over the fields in the morning light, which makes a nice panorama.
