Hares at Wisley!

Another very warm sunny day. This morning I went to Wisley RHS gardens, no problems on the A3 but lots of traffic through Esher and coming back ridiculous queues at Hampton Court. The first longish journey I have made this summer with my car roof down so that was nice.

Very surprised that there were not more people at Wisley, but nice for us. I do like this sculpture and nice against the blue blue sky. However we were a bit shocked at some of the areas which look very unkempt, maybe a lack of volunteers to help? Also lots of shrubs were wilting and the hosepipes were out. Some amazing sweet peas in the test beds area which were autumn sown. The roses were nearly over though.

Then to lunch at a friends house and we had to find shade in her garden as so warm!
