What the Lady Saw

It’s a little worrying and also curious as to why scaffolding and cherry pickers have re emerged at the west side of the Futures Institute which to all accounts is finished bar the final touches to the grounds. Whatever it is,  it is at roof level, well above my eye level as I drank my morning coffee .

Daughter#1 and I had already had a Porty swim at the 6:30am high tide when it was sunny and calm , almost Mediterranean with the water lapping quietly high up on the sand. I even managed to catch the earlier of only two #45 buses that run through  Porty at 7:12 and 7:42am  and get me straight on home without changing . For whatever reason the later #45s  miss out Portobello  High Street.

The day has changed now . It’s dark and wet this afternoon but the mini heat wave was lovely while it lasted.
