Eye Spy

At first I thought this white turtlehead plant had eyes and was staring at me, but alas it was only a sweet little ladybug beetle :) Shortly after this was taken it disappeared inside the bud, a bud we’re looking forward to opening • The dear deer visited overnight to feast on our lone Asian Lily plant. The first flower opened yesterday afternoon with at least six large buds ready to pop. Oh, Well! We’ve diligently switched out many of our plants to deer resistant ones but it doesn’t always work! • Despite the squishy lawn I mowed today, then raked up four large piles of grass, but it got to be too warm to finish the job so I’ll have to pick them up tomorrow morning • It was great to be outside puttering again :) • Peace & Love
