Music
In the form of birdsong and the distant sound of a ewe keeping in touch with its recently acquired lamb, the sweet smell of hay, Honeysuckle Meadowsweet and the farmyard odour that makes the countryside feel so special. This is what I wake up to every morning.
A couple of hours reorganising Amadeus before popping in to see Logan who seems to be on the mend, we greeted each other with joy and I realised how fondly we have bonded.
Off to Bideford to collect Lorraine’s bike which was having its first ever service in 25 years! I set it up in a static trainer to check everything over found that the chain was lacking oil.
The swimming pool beckoned and 20 lengths quite comfortably with the help of a pull buoy.
Chores and brushing up the grass from Amadeus were the most challenging.
A supper of mushrooms, diced pork, and plenty of vegetables.
I’d been invited to a small pub in Appledore for some music and folk singing where I met some lovely like minded people and the next three hours flashed past in no time.
