Coast

We cycled along the coast road today to investigate some of the beaches nearby. There is a cycle track which is mostly very good but fizzles out in a few places where it’s quite hard to see where you are supposed to go. It’s usually a case of dismounting and crossing over using a series of pedestrian crossings then continuing up the opposite side of the road. If you find yourself stuck in the main areas of traffic it’s quite unnerving because it’s very busy. A very good effort though and better than cycling round most towns in the UK.
We liked Plage de l’Éléphant, and La Fossette which had a nice restaurant where we had lunch.
