Park it Here

A walk through the park is the quickest way to my GP surgery.
Had to be there this morning for my Vitamin B12 jab, those three monthly intervals come around quickly.

It was a cool start to the day so l stopped to look at this flowerbed in the park.
Our village belongs to a large Metropolitan Council and about ten years ago they turned the care and development of the park over to the community, part of a cost cutting exercise if l remember correctly. 

The flower beds had that sort of manicured planting where the whole area is crammed with a small selection of annuals - an expensive method .
Now are beds are full of mixed perennials that grow haphazardly which l much prefer.

Day heated up quickly and was soon really hot and sultry. Did some other errands and then completely forgot l was granny taxi for Kitty until she sent me a text so had to drop everything and go get her.

Dance is on tonight, our numbers are depleted as lots are on holiday, hope it has cooled down a bit by then.
