Dinner with no view (Day 3334)

Off out to Stromness this morning to change an under sink water heater. They always seem to be tricky to fit and always seem to leak when the water is switched on. Connections have to be taken apart and re-done a couple of times before they behave themselves. Even if I make up the connections the same way every time, they still leak. They are stupidly frustrating, but apparently I am not the only plumber who has the same problems with them.
I slotted in a quick sneaky visit to the horses to reset my brain, then headed along to another customer to swap an outside tap. The "while you are here" job requires a second visit with a pile.of parts.
Next a trip to town to collect some bits before heading back to Mum's for lunch with my beautiful wife and Mum.
Afterwards I headed to Orphir to look at a problem with a heating system which seemed to have resolved itself, but I was able to fix the kitchen tap while I was there.
HV and had a late afternoon visit to the horses, leaving just as the rain started.
