Wise purchase

At times like these (heatwaves) the shutters are a godsend. It's been too hot to do much today. See extra re temp in full shade in our back garden this afternoon. Earlier in the day the breeze had kept the temp down a little but it dropped late afternoon which made for the higher temp.
I watered some of the pot plants about 6pm and the sky clouded over. It looked and felt grim as if a storm was coming but half an hour later it was bright sunshine again. I know people like the sun but I'm hoping for rain to cool things down.
Got my pre-op for the cataract tomorrow morning. Hope all goes OK.
