We got on the road about 40 minutes later than planned. I am not sure why except that we kept remembering stuff we hadn’t packed. Both Parker and Brooklyn were at the house early. The trip was uneventful except for a little road work and heavy traffic on I-95. We saw this “cyber truck” on the way, not far from home. I think it is ugly and weird looking but each to his own. It’s an electric vehicle made by Tesla. We made two stops including lunch at a small Mexican restaurant. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. We easily found the campground. It took almost 6 hours including lunch. Hubby pulled the camper into our spot and the truck died after “shivering.” He thinks the battery is weak; we were using it to keep our refrigerator and freezer cold on the trip up. Once he disconnected it from the camper, it seemed okay. He plans to replace the battery Saturday morning. We made BBQ and all the trimmings for dinner. The kids are our first company in this camper. We are expecting storms later. They are over our home town at the moment. Abi and Renee are sitting on the runway waiting for the storm to clear. Good news from Isla. The doctors think she’s having Febrile seizures (occur when fever reaches 100.4F with accompanying illness) which most children outgrow by age 6. More good news. Hubby’s heart rate has come down somewhat so his meds are already starting to work. Life is good. Hope you can say the same.
