My prickly friend

I didn't mention that I was shipping my beautiful cactus in the pod just in case it didn't make it. I was hopeful though. If any plant would make it for a week in a hot moving pod I figured a cactus would and it did! I packed it in a box but didn't close the lid and then I slipped it in a wooden box to keep anything from squashing it. You can see in the extra the cardboard box on the bottom left. That was its box. I was so happy to see it. I had to leave most of my really nice plants in Maine.
Everything went really smoothly today. The Uhaul place brought the pod over at 9 this morning.  The extra shows that everything really stayed just as we had packed it without shifting around. I sent Dan the photo and showed him what a great packing job he did. 
A friend came to help me unload and we were done by 11:30. Plus I got my bed set up, and my beautiful Amish full length mirror that has been wrapped up in the barn for the last 8 years. I will blip it at some point. I've still a lot to do and I'm wiped out this evening but I'm very pleased.
