Garlic Scapes

For those of you who don't grow garlic, the plants produce the scapes at the top. (Hard neck garlic produces scapes but soft neck doesn't) The whitish area will form the flower of the garlic plant. By cutting them off, the plant can put it's energy into the garlic bulb in the ground.
I chopped these up this morning and sauteed them. They have a very mild garlic flavor which is yummy sprinkled on my dinner.
Other than that today has been a somewhat dreary day and my mood is kind of matching it. I will have to shake this since the weather doesn't look great for a while.
