Astrantia

Another beautiful day, and having spent so long complaining about cold, wet days, I’m resisting the temptation to moan about the heat. 

We have a scheduled visit to G’s mum today. I mentioned previously that she now wants to move from her supported living facility to a care home, but from what we’ve seen, her current accommodation and care package is much better than anything else on offer, and we foresee a difficult time ahead when we all try to make her realise that her idealised version and reality are two very different things. 

I really don’t have the energy to call anywhere else for photographs, so it’s more garden shots today. This time it’s Astrantia - another plant that’s survived the winter well.
