That kind of day
I was pleased when I got up this morning to find that the forecast no longer called for rain all day. So you can imagine my surprise when I drove out of the garage and it was raining, and did in fact continue all day. I had a very short dialysis session this morning because when shifting my position in the chair I inadvertently moved my left arm and caused an infiltration. So the needles had to be removed and an icepack applied instead. I had the choice to come back tomorrow for a two-hour session, but I couldn't face the idea of going back again and then on Saturday. So I need to eat very carefully until then.
This is what the sky looked like all day today. The only bright spot was when the cable technician came and put in a new cable box. But the new box has no clock in it so I keep having to look at my phone to find out what time it is. I'll have to get a small clock for that space.
If I can trust the forecast, tomorrow is supposed to be a sunny day. I'll be going to Safeway to spend my June Fresh Bucks and get either a Covid booster or an oil change. Maybe both, if I can get the shot while I'm in Safeway.
