Matariki Wanaka Style

Per favour Teen 'H'.  It was too cold, wet and dark for me, so Teen 'h' kindly sent me the three photos.  Extra (1)  Pink tree, and extra (2)  Playing with fire.

The day has been quite cloudy and cold, +8.  Some enthusiastic people drove up Treble Cone Ski field at 6 a.m. this morning to watch the sun rise.  It was reported on TV.  Too early and cold for me.  I am sorry that they don't let off fireworks any more, it was always a highlight.  Back to normal tomorrow.
