Brodie Castle
Another day, another castle!
We'd been to Brodie Castle a few years ago, so were familiar with the inside (as much as we could remember!). No dog with us back then of course.
Had a lovely walk around the grounds; they have a new 'Playful Garden' which was well done. The woodland and pond-side walks were good too, so we rewarded ourselves with quite the most fabulous 'cranachan' cake at the café there. Could not recommend that any more highly.
After leaving Brodie, we went for a walk in nearby Culbin Forest.
We then went along the coast to Findhorn and had a bracing walk around the beach and dunes (Extra), followed by another sweet treat (ice-cream).
Back in Nairn in the evening, we had a meal out.
After a total of 7 miles walked today, we felt we earned all our treats.
