Birthday boy

I don’t eat cake and we are away so no one calling in for a slice so bought a mini one from M&S, he was happy. Presents opened and breakfast eaten we headed off on a walk that took us down to the river, along the opposite side and back to Reeth.
Found a second hand book shop on way, had a nice pub lunch in Reeth and then headed off further along and up the hill back to campsite, a very pleasant day. Bit cool and a few light showers but we managed to sit outside for lunch. Past a garage selling unusual vehicles and hubby suggested this one would be an interesting hobby car.
Made mushrooms in red wine and tagliatelle for dinner and even had time to read a while before cooking.
It has become warm and sunny so might have a walk out this evening, or we might just eat chocolate and chill.
