Growing well…at last!

After a dismal start to the season some things are now growing quite well at the allotment including the courgette plants.

After Pilates I trimmed the Ivy on the fence adjoining our neighbour ..I think it is holding the fence up! Then repotted a couple of plants including a hydrangea which need a bigger pot as it is always wilting doe to lack of water.

This afternoon I went to see the relay races at Sports day at the grandchildren’s school as L was the Year 2 girl in her house relay team. There was one boy and one girl from each of Years 2-6 for each house team. She started well as did the first boy but the next girl dropped the baton so her team came last! However she ran really fast.
